Invincible

Being a teenager is all about doing anything and everything you want. Teenagedom is one of the most unique times in your life because you're in a situation where you have the freedom to do whatever you'd like. It's up to you to make the most of your time and in the final weeks of the especially, live it up to the best of your ability. Young, wild, and free seems to be dogma nowadays. YOLO is the motto or OLTL, whatever acronym you swear by (I personally like the One Direction Forever Young style "Up All Night" or the Wanted "Chasing the Sun" sentiments), make some memories. We won't be always be invincible. Bouts of stupidity seem to creeping up all over campus nowadays. The countdown until the end of the semester is at 12 days, and that means everything is ramping up like none other. I'm talking like Giuliana and Bill Rancic excited when they finally moved in together ecstatic. This whole idea of invincibility has definitely been taken way t

Struggle City

Being a teenager is all about your daily battles. I'm telling you, each day you draw closer to the end of the year makes it more difficult to stay on task. My capacity to care grows smaller day by day, as in I gives none. You're like done with life, more than over being at school, and you're pretty much incapable of showing enthusiasm for anything. We all know how you love Rack City by Tyga, well this isn't that. This is struggle city, and how to finish the year strong. One of the worst things about college is the whole sleep deprivation thing. I can wholeheartedly tell you I've gone to bed before midnight less than 10 times this entire school year. It's literally crazy. I don't even sleep long enough to dream, like who does that. I wake up sleepy and tired, and go through the day fighting the sandman and his evil eye crispies. 1 am and 2 am are like the new "in" thing apparently when it comes to sleeping. Seriously, sitting up writing lab repo

Environmentally Aware

Being a teenager is all about doing your part to better the environment. We're all apart of this world and that means it's up to us to take care of it. It shouldn't just be special occasions like arbor day or Earth day where we actively take part in making mother Earth cleaner. That's like only doing your laundry twice a year, foul as hell. It's time to buckle down, strap on some gloves, and get one of those fascinating green thumbs (apparently they actually exist). This is environmentally aware. Community service is one of those things that you should really enjoy. It feels great to help people and not expect anything in return. In college, there's tons of opportunities to get involved and give back to the community that you've become apart of but you definitely have to make the effort yourself. It's kind of like Dexter's Lab where Dee-Dee happens to ruin everything, and you've got a Mandark just messing everything up. A lot of people stop d

Presidential Pardon

Being a teenager is all about those things that you'd just like to forget. We've all got those super embarrassing stories, like the secret service Colombian prostitution debacle, that we would like to forgot. Public humiliation is on a lot of people's official lists of fears. That's a valid thing. People can be harsh, and those moments somehow always become infamous in their playback. Here's your chance to redeem yourself, find out what's the haps, personally, and then act on it. Here's your presidential pardon. There are so many things that can happen in one day and that's what makes college the most random place ever. It's a place full of strangers, wildness and whole lot of crazy, that's for sure. If you don't know I may not be that adventurous on my own, but I'm down for a little journey to the center of (the earth) campus every once in a while. Thursday is my adventure day, and I celebrate by catching the bus (the bus, that thi
