Up in the Air

Being a teenager is all about rolling with the punches. It's about being able to take things in stride and take them as they come. Things never go as planned, the sooner you learn that the better off you'll be. As teens were an adaptable sort, legit everything is NBD. Don't get flustered by a change of plans, just go with it. Everything's up in the air. For those of you who don't know, I've got quite a bloggable history of crazy travel stories. Here's another one, get ready for more airline hijinks - this is up in the air. Sunday, I'd just finished my conference craziness (missed those tales read  Conference Crazy & Sassy Snap ) and got dropped off at Rochester airport at like 8:30am. Even before I got to the airport, I received a flight update that my connecting flight from DC to Dayton, OH was going to be delayed by 4 hours. I was like whatever, so I checked in, turned in my piece if baggage and proceeded through the security checkpoint. I ha...

Being a teenager is all about those crazy stories that you have to hear to believe. It's another one of everyone's favorite blog posts, more airplane travelling stories from yours truly. Read up on my hilarious prior airport experiences with the Jet Set - Airborne - Up, Up & Away and get ready for more airline mishaps and truly teenage moments. Now boarding for your one way ticket to mile high club chaos. This is the true story a single teenager, picked to live in an airport, and have his life blogged and find out what happens when people stop being polite and start getting real, the real world, airport terminal. We're going sky high. Friday morning was just out of control from the get go. If I could do a confessional I'd most deff have a shat ton to say. It all starts at 6:30am when Krabby Patty has to get up and register for classes. Soon everyone, as in Cullen, Jandro, and Sam are all in our room trying to add some extra classes. You know the syste...

Up, Up & Away

Being a teenager is all about living it up in the summer months. That includes travelling whenever possible. Whether it be epic road trips with stories that you'd have to be there to believe, cruises over the open sea, or train rides through the flowing countryside, it's just great to be away from home. Let me tell you, literally anywhere else is better than your hometown, that's for sure. Any escape from the norm is most deff warranted, but it seems everytime I enter an airport, there are just more antics to be had. Be prepared for more airline shenanigans, catch up on the other hilarious travel posts ( Jet Set  - Airborne ). It's a bird, it's a plane, no it's not Superman, it's your favorite teenager blogger. We're about to go up, up, and away. Travelling is always expensive and if you're like me, spending your own money is a problem. Why yes, I may have a debit card, filled with graduation mullah, but I've become stingy with it. So of course...

the Jet Set

Being a teenager means that sometimes you're going to have to board an airplane. Let me tell you, it's always a funny experience being airborne. The process just to get their is literally hilarious. Last time I was at the airport, I was connecting for my flight from Cleveland to Dayton, Ohio. So I get off the airplane, wielding my carry on bag like it was literally a sword, cutting through the crowd and making my way to the next terminal. I see rude business men sporting their first class rights like nobody's business, disoriented mothers running a muck searching for their children, and alone teenager like me, pretty much hanging out like it's no thing. I think all our flights are boarding, get ready to take off, and indulge in airplane horror stories with the jet set. To get to the next departure there was this underground tunnel type thingy, and you can either walk or sort of sprint in the moving sidewalk escalator contraptions. I was under the misconception that j...
