Night to Remember

Being a teenager is all about making the most out your college nights. it's about making memories, and making sure you're living your life to the fullest. It may sound cliché but YOLO is the damn motto, and that is doing right by yourself and living it up. You've got to bring your A-game at all times and leave it all on the dance floor (your ass had better be sweating like you popped a molly *apparently that's like a thing - I thought it was a weight loss supplement). Do you and do you right. These are supposed to be the best years of our lives, make sure they count. This is a night to remember.

First and foremost, as I mentioned earlier this week - I've been straight booked solid and have little to no time to sleep properly much less dedicate tons of time writing my ridiculously long usual blog posts. As you've probably guessed, instead you've got another vlog (don't pretend you don't like seeing my face, hearing my voice, and experiencing my life first hand *via the Internet) that sums up the rest of this week. This is a great one - includes me twerking (straight booty working) to prove a damn point. Highlights - my fraternity's initiation ceremony, ice cream with Josh, Kylie and Claire, and Alpha Delta Pi's formal. If you're not going to make that rump shake, get off the dance floor, give me room and let me go off. Secondly, you're tasked with joining me on the daily by following me on twitter - and instagram and vine @drjotengii. Subscribe to this blog and my YouTube channel - enjoy!

Nights to remember are those nights where you make the least effort and have the most fun. You don't have to try and things just seem to fall into plce. You play your part in setting up the night and bringing the right attitude to any situation. It's so important that you're in the right mindset or you might as well sit yourself out for the night. If you're not having it, keep your grumpster outlook to yourself and park it at home - don't ruin the night for the rest of us. When you're out with people, no matter what you're doing, downtown at the movies, hitting your best moves on the dance floor, or even staying in and just goofing round - when you're not having it, it can definitely change the whole atmosphere. You really have to take yourself there, remind yourself where you are, and what your purpose is for the night ... to have some wholehearted fun. You've got to let go of your inhibitions, consciously, and make a concerted effort to just let loose, and let go, but still be a full participant aware of your choices and actions. College nights can get pretty crazy really fast, and that's when you've got to take a step back, evaluate the situation and choose to continue on or it call it a night. As long as you're safe, and feel comfortable, let the party roll on. Make sure to take pictures (pics or it didn't happen) and like we all love to do in this day and age, document the whole damn thing. Mix and mingle, meet new people, put yourself out and bring the best of yourself. Make this a night to remember.

Being a teenager is all about doing what you do best, living the night life. It's about making the most of your time while you have it. College goes by so very fast, I can't believe I'm just about halfway done. The nights that you remember are the ones that end up meaning the most to you. When you look back and reflect on your experiences, who you were with and what you were doing and can genuinely smile, it's the most satisfying thing. This has been a night to remember.

My blog post question for the day is ... what has been your nighttime experience from this year? Uhm, it has to be the nights when I'm with my fraternity brothers doing our random stuff, usually eating, cracking jokes, and taking pictures.
